Data Analytics Senior Manager, Fraud Analytics and Risk at Billy Goat Group

Senior manager oversees fraud detection lifecycle, designs AI-enabled risk strategies, analyzes data patterns, and presents findings to executives across the organization.

What this role involves

Role Overview

We’re looking for a sharp, self-driven Senior Manager to join our growing Trust & Safety team. You’ll own the full fraud lifecycle — from individual order review to designing AI-enabled detection strategies and presenting risk exposure to executive leadership. This is a forward-looking role: you’ll connect the dots across data, drive findings to resolution, and bring new ideas before problems escalate.

You’ll work across Product, Engineering, Decision Science, Compliance, CX, and senior leadership — so translating complex findings into clear, actionable narratives is just as important as finding them.

In this role, you will:

  • Own the fraud rule lifecycle — designing, testing, deploying, and continuously optimizing detection rules and thresholds to maximize catch rate while minimizing friction.
  • Lead AI-enabled fraud use cases end-to-end: use-case sizing, feature ideation, population analysis, and data quality assessment to ensure solutions are analytically sound and value-accretive.
  • Conduct periodic performance reviews of fraud models and rules; drive root-cause investigations to proactively surface risk before it scales.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor for AI and ML use cases within fraud, ensuring alignment with enterprise AI governance standards, regulatory expectations, and the AI Use Case Registry.
  • Evaluate vendor fraud solutions through an analytical lens — assessing effectiveness, overlap, and value relative to cost and risk-reduction objectives.
  • Stay current on AI and automation tools and actively explore how they can enhance fraud detection workflows and efficiency.
  • Write and maintain intermediate-to-advanced SQL queries to investigate fraud signals, identify connected accounts and orders, and surface emerging patterns.
  • Develop and maintain executive dashboards covering fraud review rates, chargeback performance, model effectiveness, and loss trends.
  • Translate complex analytical findings into clear, executive-ready narratives — articulating implications for fraud loss, operational efficiency, and customer experience.
  • Proactively identify trends and anomalies at both the individual order and systemic level, communicating the full arc of a problem — from discovery to resolution — to any audience.
  • Support daily fraud review operations — account verification, order review, escalation handling, SLA adherence, and QA.
  • Serve as an internal escalation point for complex cases; assist in coaching the team and continuously improve review processes.
  • Partner cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, Compliance, and Legal to align fraud controls with regulatory requirements and product priorities.
  • Manage law enforcement requests as needed.

We are looking for:

  • 4–6 years in fraud analytics, fraud strategy, or payments risk — ideally within fintech, e-commerce, or a marketplace.
  • Demonstrated experience designing and optimizing fraud detection rules or model-driven thresholds.
  • Strong SQL proficiency — complex queries from scratch, data troubleshooting, and data storytelling; Snowflake or similar a plus.
  • Hands-on experience with order-level fraud review, chargebacks, dispute management, and regulatory compliance.
  • Proven ability to build risk reporting and stakeholder dashboards, and present findings confidently to both technical peers and senior leadership.
  • Experience with AI-enabled workflows and/or an active interest in applying AI to fraud and risk — including responsible, governance-aligned use.
  • Self-starter who synthesizes complex information quickly, drives projects forward without heavy oversight, and connects individual cases to systemic patterns.
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced environment where priorities shift as the threat landscape evolves.

Data Analytics Senior Product Analyst at Splash

Senior Product Analyst analyzes financial product data and user metrics to inform product decisions and drive business growth at a fintech lending marketplace.

What this role involves

ABOUT OUR COMPANY:

The crushing weight of debt is something that we believe holds people back from reaching their dreams and making a splash in the world. So in 2013, after seeing our friends and family struggle with student loans, we created Splash Financial.

Over the years, our mission has expanded to include helping people with other forms of debt - such as refinancing credit cards, which are at all time highs in the US. And we’ve been able to refinance $6+ Billion in loans through our network of Splash, powered credit union and bank partners who leverage our marketplace and automated loan processing technology. And we’ve raised over $135 million from investors like partners of DST Global, Citi Ventures, TruStage Ventures, Northwestern Mutual Future Ventures, Detroit Venture Partners, and more.

But at our core, we’re still that little company from Cleveland with a big dream: to make people more powerful than their debt and we’re just getting started..

ABOUT OUR WORKPLACE:

Splash is remote-first, and proud of it — though our collections team works in-person at our Arizona location.

We spend our days simplifying financial products and getting them into the hands of people who need them most. Right now, we’re focused on building financial technologies that fundamentally transform how the industry lends.

Although Splash has been around since 2013, we still operate like a startup — fast-paced, nimble, and full of heart. We’re good people who care deeply about doing meaningful work and we approach challenges with creativity, passion, and urgency.

And to hire the best, we provide the best: great health insurance, competitive salaries, and unique benefits like quarterly meet-ups and access to engagement tools that keep us connected — even from afar.

At Splash, everything we do is guided by our values:

Own It – We take full accountability and follow through on commitments.

Raise the Bar – We move fast, innovate faster, and push through barriers.

Say the Hard Thing – We speak up with honesty, respect, and a desire to solve problems and make things better.

Elevate Each Other – We win as a team by lifting each other up.

These values show up in how we work and how we connect — whether we’re collaborating on big projects or bonding over everyday moments. Yes, we even have Slack channels for #kids-and-pets and #food because we believe being human makes us better teammates.

ABOUT THE ROLE:

Splash Financial is looking for a Senior Product Analyst to help us answer the “why” behind customer behavior and product performance. You’ll be the analytical lead of our product organization, owning the experimentation, instrumentation, and insight work that shapes our roadmap and the customer experience. In this role, you’ll design and analyze A/B tests, turning results into clear, compelling stories for both executives and cross-functional partners. You’ll lead our product analytics stack, define the metrics that matter, and build intuitive dashboards that give teams a trusted, self-serve view of product health. You’ll also build a unified customer 360 view that connects acquisition, onboarding, servicing, and outcomes, giving Splash a holistic understanding of our borrowers. Beyond the data work, you’ll own a lightweight research program — customer surveys, NPS analysis, and interview synthesis — ensuring product decisions are grounded in both quantitative rigor and qualitative insight. Sitting at the intersection of

data, product, and customer experience, this role is a critical partner in driving growth and conversion across our portfolio.

WHAT YOU’LL DO AT SPLASH:

  • Own experimentation and test analytics:  Design, implement, and analyze A/B and multivariate tests across the product experience, including funnel optimizations to new feature launches
  • Build and maintain core product & business dashboards: Develop, automate, and continuously improve dashboards and reporting that track key product, funnel, and customer metrics; make it easy for PMs and leaders to self-serve insights and monitor performance.
  • Lead product analytics tooling and instrumentation: Own the roadmap, governance, and best practices for our product analytics stack (event schemas, tracking plans, data quality); partner closely with Product and Engineering to ensure every new feature ships with the right instrumentation and metrics.
  • Create and evolve a customer 360 view: Bring together product usage, marketing, servicing data into a holistic view of the customer journey; identify segments, behaviors, and opportunities that drive acquisition, conversion, engagement, and long-term value.
  • Translate customer feedback & data into actionable insights: Combine quantitative analysis (funnels, experiments) with qualitative signals (surveys, NPS, interviews, customer service calls and tickets) to surface insights and recommendations that shape product strategy and prioritization.
  • Own lightweight customer research programs: Lead customer surveys, NPS programs, and usability interview syntheses; conduct competitive and market analysis; translate qualitative findings into product recommendations that complement quantitative work
  • Leverage AI tools to accelerate analysis and insight generation:  Actively use AI-powered tools (e.g.- LLM-assisted data exploration, AI-enhanced analytics platforms) to increase the speed and depth of analysis; help the team develop frameworks for where AI can improve experimentation, personalization, and product decisions

WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO SPLASH:

  • 5-8+ years of experience in product analytics, data science, business intelligence, or a related field, preferably in fintech, consumer lending, or a consumer marketplace environment.
  • Strong proficiency in SQL and working with relational databases; comfort validating large datasets and joining complex tables. Experience with a scripting language (e.g., Python or R) for deeper analysis, modeling, or automation is a plus.
  • Demonstrated experience designing, running, and evaluating A/B tests (or similar experiments) — including hypothesis formation, sample size estimation, guardrails, and clear communication of results and trade-offs.
  • Hands-on experience with modern product analytics and BI tools (e.g., Logrocket, Amplitude, Mixpanel, Heap, Looker, Tableau, Mode, etc.), and a track record of building dashboards and self-serve tools that enable others to answer their own questions.
  • Familiarity with research methods- survey design, NPS analysis, usability study basics, or competitive intelligence and the ability to extract signal from qualitative data and pair it with quantitative analysis. Experience running or synthesizing customer interviews is a plus.
  • Working knowledge of AI/ML tools and how they apply to analytics workflows, including LLM-assisted data analysis, AI-powered product features, and the ability to instrument and measure AI-driven experiences. Comfort using AI tools to accelerate your own work is expected.
  • Entrepreneurial, resourceful, and comfortable operating with ambiguity; you identify opportunities, propose solutions, and drive them to completion with limited guidance while maintaining a high bar for quality.

COMPENSATION:

The base salary range for this role is $150,000 to $180,000 annually, based on market data and internal compensation practices. This role may also be eligible for a bonus component tied to individual and company performance. Final compensation will be determined by factors such as location, experience, and skill level.

SPLASHERS ENJOY:

  • Fully remote work freedom (for most roles)
  • Competitive salary packages
  • Flexible PTO + 9 company holidays
  • Equity: Share in our start-up success
  • Comprehensive and affordable insurance benefits
  • Paid parental leave for both caregivers
  • Essential modern equipment to get the job done

Senior manager oversees fraud detection lifecycle, designs AI-enabled rules and models, conducts root-cause analysis, and translates analytical findings into executive narratives for risk mitigation.

Senior Posted about 13 hours ago RemoteFirstJobs Product

  • Strong SQL proficiency — complex queries from scratch, data troubleshooting, and data storytelling; Snowflake or similar a plus.
  • Hands-on experience with order-level fraud review, chargebacks, dispute management, and regulatory compliance.

  • Experience with AI-enabled workflows and/or an active interest in applying AI to fraud and risk — including responsible, governance-aligned use.
  • Self-starter who synthesizes complex information quickly, drives projects forward without heavy oversight, and connects individual cases to systemic patterns.

Data Analytics Senior Product Analyst at Splash

Senior Product Analyst analyzes product data and metrics to inform business decisions and drive financial technology improvements at a fintech lending marketplace.

Senior Remote Posted about 13 hours ago RemoteFirstJobs Product

  • Fully paid Claude subscription to supercharge your work
  • 401(k) for your future savings
  • Quarterly meet-ups: In person & virtual fun

We are looking for a Senior Business Analyst to be the analytical backbone of Bolt Ads — one of the fastest-growing functions in the company, scaling advertising revenue across multiple markets!

About us

With over 200 million customers in 50+ countries, Bolt is one of the fastest-growing tech companies in Europe and Africa. And it’s all thanks to our people.

We believe in creating an inclusive environment where everyone is welcome, regardless of race, color, religion, gender identity, sexual orientation, national origin, age, or disability.

Our ultimate goal is to make cities for people, not cars, and we need your help to achieve this mission!

About the role

Bolt Ads operates across two verticals, Merchant Ads and Brand Ads, and every strategic decision, from country prioritisation to pricing models, depends on rigorous analysis that turns commercial ambiguity into clear action. You won’t just produce insights; you’ll drive the decisions and execution that follow. This means owning revenue forecasting, setting targets across markets, identifying opportunities before anyone asks, and being the go-to analytical partner for commercial and technical stakeholders alike.

Main tasks and responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain revenue forecast models, own target-setting across markets, and track forecast accuracy versus plan
  • Act as a trusted analytical partner to Account Managers, General Managers, Product Managers, and Engineering, translating business questions into structured analysis and findings into commercial action
  • Structure and solve ambiguous commercial problems: decompose questions like “why is advertising adoption plateauing in this market?” into hypotheses, run the analysis, and deliver recommendations with a clear “so what”
  • Proactively surface revenue opportunities, underperforming segments, untapped markets, pricing inefficiencies, adoption gaps, and work with commercial teams to capture them
  • Build scalable, self-serve reporting and partner with data engineering to automate manual workflows, freeing capacity for higher-impact analytical work

About you:

  • 5+ years in analytics, BI, or commercial analytics in a marketplace, e-commerce, digital advertising, or data-intensive business

• Advanced SQL, CTEs, window functions, multi-table joins, cohort analysis; SQL is your primary tool for answering business questions

  • Advanced SQL, CTEs, window functions, multi-table joins, cohort analysis; SQL is your primary tool for answering business questions
  • Experience building forecast models and the ability to explain why you chose one approach over another
  • Strong analytical problem structuring, you decompose ambiguous questions into driver trees, form hypotheses, and know which data to pull before writing a single query
  • Clear, proactive communicator, you lead with the “so what,” bring findings to stakeholders unprompted, and are comfortable presenting to senior leadership
  • Experience with data visualisation tools (Looker, Tableau, Metabase, or similar)
  • Proactive ownership mindset, you drive solutions end-to-end, from analysis through to execution
  • Fluent in English
  • Nice to have: Experience in advertising, ad tech, or monetisation analytics, CPC, ROAS, auction dynamics, merchant adoption funnels

Experience is great, but what we really look for is drive, intelligence, and integrity. So even if you don’t tick every box, please consider applying!

  • Get a rewarding salary and stock option package that lets you focus on doing your best work.
  • Enjoy the flexibility of working in a hybrid mode with a minimum of 2 days in the office each week to foster strong connections and teamwork.
  • Take care of your physical and mental health with our wellness perks.

Data Analytics Senior Analytics Engineer at Roofr

Designs and builds scalable data models, semantic layers, and analytics infrastructure to turn raw data into insights that drive strategy and growth across the organization.

Senior Posted 4 days ago RemoteFirstJobs Product
What this role involves

At Roofr, we’re obsessed with our customers. We constantly gather feedback to shape, prioritize, and launch the products they truly need. That’s what makes Roofr’s CRM special. We started by building essential sales tools like aerial roof measurements and digital sales proposals. But when our customers asked for a simple, affordable way to manage and scale their entire businesses, we listened. So, we created a CRM that connects these solutions—along with payments, material ordering, and more—into a seamless, powerful platform. With a clear roadmap ahead, we’re excited to continue expanding and leading the market with innovative products.

We have an amazing culture, strong financials, and best-in-class company metrics. It’s an exciting time to be part of an extraordinary startup that is already successful, yet still early enough to offer its team significant growth, equity, and the opportunity to make a real impact.

This position is for an existing vacancy.

At Roofr, building a powerful user experience starts with data. As a Senior Analytics Engineerat an early-stage, high-growth company, you’ll play a critical role in turning raw data into insights that shape strategy, drive growth, and improve the customer experience. You’ll have a direct impact on how we democratize data and insights across the company.

This isn’t a ‘maintain the dashboards’ role. You’ll be working with an experienced data & analytics team to redesign how Roofr uses data from the ground up, building scalable data models, defining the semantic layer for enterprise consumption, and pushing the limits of AI-driven analysis.

What You’ll Get to Do:

  • Architect and build the semantic layer powering AI-driven analytics across Abacum.ai, Snowflake Cortex, Sigma, Claude, and the modern analytics tools
  • Design, build, and refactor DBT models to maintain a trustworthy, evolving single source of truth for enterprise KPIs
  • Be the go-to analytics partner for Finance, Strategy, and Operations
  • Bring data to life with compelling presentations and reports that drive key decisions and actions
  • Raise the bar on how we do analytics engineering — testing, documentation, CI/CD, and performance optimization that the whole team can build on
  • Evolve our data governance framework — cataloguing, lineage tracking, metric definitions, access controls, and data quality standards

What You’ll Bring to the Role:

  • 7+ years of experience in BI, data engineering, or analytics engineering in high-growth startups or innovation labs within large organizations, where you had to build fast and build right.
  • Proficient in modern BI tools like Metabase, Sigma, Omni, Tableau, or Looker
  • Hands-on DBT experience, you’ve built, refactored, and scaled DBT projects in production
  • Strong SQL skills and experience with cloud data warehouses (e.g. Snowflake)
  • A solid grasp of semantic layers and firsthand experience building one for self-serve analytics
  • Comfort working across the org with senior leaders and business SMEs to nail metric definitions, ship dashboards, and keep data quality high

Who You Are:

  • Think ideal, act agile, you deliver iteratively while keeping the north star in mind
  • You lose sleep over bad data models and can’t look at a messy DBT project without mentally refactoring it
  • You get a weird amount of satisfaction from getting a room aligned on a metric definition, and you don’t get frustrated when the goal post moves as the business evolves
  • Details bother you in a good way, you’re the one who catches the off-by-one error before the CFO sees it
  • You’re three steps ahead, organized, prioritized, and rarely caught off guard
  • A true team player, you love brainstorming, peer reviews, pair programming
  • You love the business as much as the data behind it
  • You’re in it for the journey, not just the destination

Our compensation ranges are built using multiple market benchmarks and reflect both the scope of the role and current market data. While many hires fall within the beginning to midpoint of the band to allow for growth over time, we tailor offers based on each candidate’s experience, seniority, and demonstrated impact.

🏠 What we offer (US + Canada)

When you join our team, you’re not just accepting a job. You’re making a career move. Here’s how we’ll support you in doing some of the most impactful work of your career:

Designs and builds scalable data models, semantic layers, and analytics infrastructure to enable data-driven decision-making across the organization.
