Operations Staff Site Reliability Engineer at Fingerprint

Define and implement SLIs/SLOs, establish error budgets, strengthen incident response processes, and coach engineering teams on reliability best practices across the platform.

Lead Remote Posted about 24 hours ago RemoteFirstJobs Product
What this role involves

Fingerprint empowers enterprises to detect and stop online fraud with the world’s most accurate device intelligence.  We lead our industry with bleeding-edge identification capabilities and work on turning new ideas and discoveries in the fraud detection space into reality. Our customers range from innovative startups to leading enterprise companies, including Plaid, Dropbox, and Booking.com.

Fingerprint is a globally dispersed, 100% remote company. We were named on on the 2026 Forbes Best Startup Employers list and ranked #803 on the 2026 Inc. 5000 list of America’s fastest-growing private companies.

We have raised $77M and are backed by Craft Ventures (Tesla, Facebook, Airbnb ), Nexus Venture Partners ( Postman, Apollo.io, MinIO, Druva) and Uncorrelated Ventures ( Redis, Rollbar,  Gradle).

About the role

You will be Fingerprint’s first dedicated Site Reliability Engineer. You will work alongside our Architect on the shape of the platform, with Cloud Platform on the infrastructure that runs it, and with every product team on how they operate what they own — without direct reports. The mandate has three parts. First, make reliability measurable: define SLIs and SLOs for our critical paths, get teams to own them, and make error budgets the shared language for prioritizing reliability against features. Second, raise the operational bar: strengthen incident response, postmortem quality, alerting, and change safety so that we find out first and repeat incidents stop repeating. Third, build the mindset: coach teams to design for failure, test for it deliberately, and treat operability as part of done — so the practices outlive your involvement in any single team.

You report directly to the VP of Engineering. That placement is deliberate: reliability standards need to apply evenly across eight engineering groups, and you need the neutrality to hold every team, including infrastructure, to the same bar.

What you’ll do

Make reliability measurable

  • Define SLIs and SLOs for Fingerprint’s critical request paths (identification, events, server APIs, client agents) with the teams that own them; make them visible, reviewed, and tied to decisions.
  • Introduce error budgets as the mechanism for balancing reliability investment against feature work, and coach EMs and Staff engineers on using them.
  • Own the reliability metrics that leadership uses to judge progress; be the No Nonsense voice on whether we are actually getting better.

Raise the operational bar

  • Strengthen the incident lifecycle end to end: detection, response, communication, postmortem quality, and follow-up completion. Make the postmortem the most useful document a team writes.
  • Close the “customers find out before we do” gap: drive alert quality, correctness anomaly detection, and escalation design across teams, working with Cloud Platform on shared tooling.
  • Lead reliability reviews for high-risk changes and new services (production readiness, capacity, failure modes, rollback), teaching through review rather than gatekeeping.
  • Introduce deliberate failure testing (game days, chaos exercises) in staging first, then production, to discover gaps and safe limits before customers do.

Build the SRE mindset in teams

  • Embed with teams for time-boxed engagements: pair on their hardest reliability problems, leave behind better practices and a stronger owner, then move on.
  • Develop Staff and Lead engineers as reliability leaders in their own groups — the goal is that every team has someone who thinks like an SRE.
  • Codify practices that stick: production readiness checklists, on-call standards, runbook quality, change safety norms. Make them lightweight enough that teams choose to use them.
  • Partner with the Architect and tech leads so reliability is designed in, not retrofitted.

Stay hands-on

  • Dig into production during incidents and investigations. Write tooling, dashboards, and reference implementations. Be credible with the engineers you are asking to change how they work.
  • Lead AI adoption in reliability practice: set norms for AI-assisted incident investigation, postmortem analysis, runbook authoring, and observability tooling across teams, and shape our runbooks, alerts, and operational data so AI agents can safely help diagnose and operate our systems alongside engineers.

What we’re looking for

  • 10+ years of engineering experience, with 3+ years as an SRE, production engineer, or reliability-focused Staff engineer operating across multiple teams — you have owned reliability for a platform, not just for a service you built.
  • Deep experience with SLI/SLO design and error budgets in practice, including the hard part: getting product teams to adopt and act on them.
  • Strong incident leadership: you have run incident response and postmortems for high-severity, customer-facing incidents and materially improved how an organization learns from them.
  • Hands-on depth in distributed systems failure modes — cache/database saturation and cascading failure, retry storms, capacity limits, degradation and load shedding — in a high-throughput, low-latency environment. Fluent in Kubernetes, AWS, and modern observability tooling (Datadog or equivalent).
  • Comfortable reading and writing production code (Go, TypeScript, or similar) and infrastructure as code. You can ship a fix, not just recommend one.
  • Track record of leading through influence: you have changed how teams you did not manage operate, and can explain how adoption actually happened.
  • Teacher’s instinct. You have coached engineers into owning reliability and can point to practices that persisted after you stepped back.
  • Exceptional written communication. You make incidents, risks, and trade-offs legible to engineers and executives alike, and you default to async, documented decision-making.
  • AI-native by default. You use AI tools as a normal part of how you investigate incidents, analyze telemetry, write runbooks and postmortems, and build tooling — and you have opinions, from experience, about where they accelerate reliability work and where they don’t yet.
  • Operate for an AI-assisted org. You think about how runbooks, alerts, dashboards, and operational data should be structured so that both humans and AI agents can diagnose and act on them safely — legible signals, clear ownership, strong guardrails on automated change.
  • Pragmatism over purity. You know that reliability competes with delivery, and you can make the case for the right investment at the right time — and say when a risk is acceptable.

Nice to have

  • Experience in fraud detection, identity, payments, or other adversarial, real-time domains.
  • Multi-region, cell-based, or failure-isolation architecture experience.
  • Experience with Elasticsearch, Redis, DynamoDB, or Kafka at scale, including their failure modes.
  • Familiarity with FinOps and the reliability/cost trade-off in cloud infrastructure.

About the Role

A new role at FMG, the Director of Enterprise Onboarding & Migrations, owns the end-to-end delivery of every enterprise onboarding and every migration FMG runs. This is the single accountable owner for whether an enterprise client is successfully implemented on the platform and whether a book of advisors lands on FMG intact, on time, and compliant. The role breaks into two core responsibilities, onboarding new enterprise clients and running migrations for existing books, and both need to move predictably at real scale.

Onboarding starts when an enterprise client signs with FMG. Hundreds or thousands of advisors then need to be brought onto the platform, and for Customer Delivery, the focus is on website onboarding. The process generally follows a cadence. Sales brings a custom website request, we might create pre-approved design templates, we organize a dedicated team to get these websites onto the FMG platform through a Premium or Essential build, and then launch them. Our team also reports on progress to the Enterprise client along the way, so they feel supported.

Migrations work differently, but the accountability is the same. A migration is the movement of a group of advisor accounts from one home to another, and this role is ultimately responsible for the outcome of every one of them. Generally speaking, when a new type of onboarding shows up, this role figures out what it requires from the team.

Doing both well, and at scale, takes a specific kind of person. You need the executive presence to hold a hard conversation with a client’s senior leadership, the operational rigor to run a thousand-account migration without losing accounts, and enough technical depth to speak with product and engineering. Just as important, you need to think like a product person. The process here is a product. It needs a documented current state, a defined target state, and a sequenced roadmap of changes to get from one to the other, with the reasoning written down so the team can execute the plan.

You are helping create Enterprise Onboarding and Migrations as a real function, with documented process, defensible reporting, and a team structured to scale, while running live client programs. The goal is not to manage enterprise onboarding as it exists today. It is to build what it needs to become.

Compensation This position offers $80,000-$120,000 depending on qualifications and experience.

Primary Responsibilities & Expectations

Enterprise Onboarding Delivery

  • Own the outcome of every enterprise onboarding program, from kick-off through go-live and transition to ongoing support.
  • Hold accountability for scope, timeline, milestones, and the issue log across all active programs simultaneously.
  • Own the website onboarding pipeline at scale, including advisor request intake, template governance, build coverage, and active project reporting.
  • Own P&B Enterprise project management, working closely with the Agency Revolution team to fulfill the projects.
  • Build and enforce the SOPs, templates, and infrastructure that make onboarding repeatable instead of custom each time.
  • Treat the process as a product. Maintain a roadmap of process and system improvements, sequence it against client demand, and drive it to completion with home office, product, and engineering partners.
  • Identify where a client’s request exceeds the standard package and drive the decision on scope, effort, and cost rather than absorbing it silently.

Migrations

  • Carry ultimate accountability for the outcome of every migration, including accuracy, completeness, timeline, and advisor/home office experience.
  • The team executes migrations day to day. You own the team, the method, and the result. Your job is to make sure they have a defined process, realistic capacity, and a clear quality bar, and to answer for the outcome when they do not.
  • Hold the Migrations Manager accountable for execution quality and develop that person into a genuine owner of the function.
  • Set the methodology: determine when an automation is the right route, when a manual migration is required, and what bar has to be met before a migration wave is considered done.
  • Own migration capacity planning, including sizing waves, sequencing them against client deadlines, and scaling external vendor capacity up and down as volume demands.
  • Establish the verification and QA standard so a completed migration is proven complete, not assumed complete.
  • Manage the risk surface: advisor communications, compliance resubmission, live-site continuity, in-flight builds, and the handoffs to billing, subscriptions, and support.
  • Report on progress to our enterprise partners, internally and externally, along the way.

Scoping and Pre-Sale Support

  • Join discovery and scoping calls with sales and business development partners on enterprise opportunities.
  • Own feasibility assessment and effort sizing, and give a defensible answer on what FMG can deliver, in what timeframe, and at what cost in team hours.
  • Say no, or say “not that way,” when an ask is not deliverable as scoped, and bring the alternative that is.

Client Leadership and Escalation

  • Serve as the senior escalation point for enterprise clients when a program is at risk or a client is unhappy.
  • Set and reset expectations with client-side executives directly, with the authority to hold a position under pressure.
  • Own the odd-shaped programs that do not fit any standard flow, and build the approach where none exists.

Team Leadership

  • Lead a small, senior team today, including a Migrations Manager, an Enterprise Onboarding Project Manager, and two Enterprise Onboarding Specialists, and scale it as the book grows.
  • Set clear KPIs and performance standards for the team, and hold people to them with documented, consistent follow-through.
  • Build the team and process a repeatable system.

Reporting and Operating Rhythm

  • Deliver a weekly state of the union across the full enterprise portfolio: in scoping, in build, at risk, and launching.
  • Maintain a single trustworthy source of program status that leadership can act on without asking clarifying questions.
  • Bring problems forward early with a recommendation attached, not after they have become client-visible.

What This Role Does Not Own - Named deliberately, because clarity here protects the role.

  • Design and copywriting production, which sits with the Design and Content organization within Customer Delivery.
  • The ongoing business-as-usual home office relationship after a program transitions to support.
  • Net-new enterprise deal ownership, pricing authority, and contracting, which sit with Business Development.
  • SMB and premium onboarding delivery for Wealth and P&B, which sits with the Director of Onboarding Delivery.

AI-First Expectation

FMG is building an AI-first delivery organization, and the Director of Enterprise Onboarding & Migrations is expected to be the internal driver of that shift for this function. That means identifying where AI tools and automation can replace the manual, repetitive work that dominates migrations and onboarding today, building the playbooks and standards that govern their use, and holding the team accountable for meaningful adoption. Migrations in particular are full of high-volume, rules-based, verifiable work, which makes this function one of the highest-leverage places in the company to apply automation.

This goes beyond using AI personally. It means deploying AI at the team level, changing how the work actually gets done, and being able to show the difference in throughput and quality. We are not looking for someone who is curious about AI. We are looking for someone who already thinks in systems and sees AI as the most powerful leverage point in a modern delivery organization.

What You Bring

This role sits at the intersection of enterprise client leadership and high-volume operational delivery. Strength in only one of those will not be enough.

Experience and Background

  • 7+ years in implementation, onboarding, professional services, product, or delivery leadership, with at least 3 years managing people.
  • Direct experience owning enterprise implementation programs end to end, with executive-level client stakeholders and hard external deadlines.
  • Demonstrated ownership of high-volume operational delivery at scale, such as data migrations, platform migrations, or mass provisioning, where accuracy across thousands of records was the measure of success.
  • Experience in financial services, wealth management, insurance, or another regulated industry, with working knowledge of what compliance review means for delivery timelines.
  • Track record of building a function rather than inheriting one: writing the SOPs, defining the metrics, and standing up the operating rhythm.
  • Experience owning a process or system roadmap, not just running the process, including deciding what changes get built and in what order.
  • Experience managing external or outsourced delivery capacity, including scoping work to a vendor and holding it to a quality standard.
  • SaaS or platform delivery experience, with fluency in SSO, CRM integration, data provisioning, and API-adjacent concepts sufficient to lead technical conversations credibly.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Executive presence. Can hold a room with a client’s senior leadership, deliver bad news cleanly, and reset an expectation without damaging the relationship.
  • Willingness to push back internally and externally, and the judgment to know which fights are worth having.
  • Rigorous operational discipline. Comfortable in the detail of a migration checklist and in a portfolio-level status review on the same day.
  • Product thinking. Can map a current-state process, define the target state and roadmap the changes between them.
  • Strong systems thinking, with a bias toward building the repeatable process over solving the same problem twice.
  • Credible technical range. Does not need to configure the platform, does need to know when an answer does not add up.
  • Clear, concise written communication, particularly status reporting that a busy executive can act on.
  • Ability to run many concurrent programs with competing external deadlines without losing the thread on any of them.
  • Genuine people leadership. Sets a high bar, gives direct feedback, and develops managers into owners.

At FMG, we believe in the wholehearted acceptance of each other regardless of our differences. We strive to foster an environment that allows everyone to contribute to our mission in their unique ways. With the belief that diversity propels innovation, we are continually finding ways to cultivate a commitment to inclusion in our employees, services, and products, as well as in the communities in which we live and work.

We are proud to be an equal opportunity employer committed to providing employment opportunities regardless of sex, race, creed, color, gender, religion, marital status, domestic partner status, age, national origin or ancestry, physical or mental disability, medical condition, sexual orientation, pregnancy, military or veteran status, and genetic information.  If you require accommodation to complete the application or interview process, please contact [email protected].

Operations Marketplace Operations Manager II at Wheel

Manages marketplace operations and visit delivery for healthcare client programs, owning SLA commitments, cost performance, and clinician roster health.

Mid Remote Posted 3 days ago RemoteFirstJobs Product
What this role involves

Job Title: Marketplace Operations Manager II

Job Location (Remote): Remote, USA

About the Company

Wheel is evolving the traditional care ecosystem by equipping the nation’s most innovative companies with a premier platform to deliver high-quality virtual care at scale. We offer proven strategies and cutting-edge technologies to foster consumer engagement, build brand loyalty, and maximize return on investment. Wheel solutions include configurable virtual care programs, an intuitive consumer interface, and access to a nationwide network of board-certified clinicians. Discover how Wheel is transforming the future of healthcare by visiting www.wheel.com.

About the Role

We’re looking for a Marketplace Operations Manager II to own visit delivery for a defined set of Wheel’s client programs. This is an operator’s role for someone who wants day-to-day ownership of critical business outcomes - and can carry that accountability even when some levers live with peer functions. You’ll take on the complex, ambiguous problems that come with scaling a fast-growing telehealth marketplace - from stabilizing a roster through demand volatility, to leading cross-functional projects that shape how Marketplace Operations scales next.

You will own the visit delivery SLA commitments, program-level consult cost performance, and the roster health for your clients. Separate functions on the team own overall clinician supply forecasting, clinician performance management, and scheduling - freeing you up to optimize their use within your programs.

This is a role for someone who wants to run marketplace operations for key clients end-to-end: launching and configuring new client programs, writing the operational playbooks your programs run on, and deploying incentive spend within guardrails - while trusting peer functions to own adjacent responsibilities in order for you to maintain a singular, maniacal focus on client performance.

What You’ll Do

  • Program Performance and Delivery

    • Own marketplace performance outcomes (contractual and otherwise) for your assigned client programs: SLA attainment, program-level clinician pay cost, and roster/staffing health.

    • Own roster composition and staffing strategy for your programs, building and adjusting rosters to ensure SLA through client growth, churn, and short-term volatility.

    • Own operational data analytics and reporting for your programs - pulling and interrogating utilization, breach-pattern, and profitability data yourself and turning it into recommendations and actions

    • Own the operating rhythm and upward performance visibility for your programs: recurring performance reviews of SLA, utilization, and cost that turns into actions.

    • Partner with the Capacity Planner to understand near-term volatility and how it may affect client demand (ie demand surges, modality changes, etc) and own the operational response for your programs (escalation thresholds, incentive levers, roster mix) to keep the program on track.

Cost and Incentives

  • Optimize program-level clinician pay cost and deploy consult incentive spend within a defined budget.

  • Own the cost plan for your programs and be accountable to variance - partner with the Director of Marketplace on expected cost-per-consult, and keep your lever costs calibrated so you know how to deploy your incentives appropriately.

Real-Time Response and Agent Oversight

  • Author the real-time escalation and response playbook your programs run on: thresholds, approved corrective actions, escalation triggers. Real-time monitoring and AI agents execute against the playbook you write, and you refine how they act on your programs as their capabilities grow.

  • Review how the agents act on your programs - audit their decisions for quality, catch policy drift or mistakes early, and feed corrections back into the playbook and the agent logic. You’re the human-in-the-loop that keeps automated responses trustworthy on your book.

  • Partner with clinician management peers to relay clinician performance observations that impact your programs and to identify roster improvements that will drive your client performance.

Client Launches and Partnership

  • Partner with Customer Success as the operational counterpart on the client’s commercial relationship - supporting quarterly business reviews and the real-world story behind client performance.

  • Own launch supply-readiness with Provider Operations and the Capacity Planner - ensuring clinicians are credentialed, licensed, and activated in the right states, at the volume the program needs, before go-live.

  • Lead new-client implementation - configuration and setup - as part of cross functional onboarding teams, and own expansions for programs you already run.

  • Support strategic projects across Marketplace Operations as they arise.

Who You Are

  •  An operator with experience working in fast-paced, high-demand environments - someone who digs into the details to find root cause, spots broken or inefficient processes, and builds the fix rather than just flagging the problem.

  • Experience owning end-to-end operational performance in a marketplace, logistics, or two-sided platform environment (delivery, rideshare, staffing, workforce management) - direct accountability for SLA, throughput, or cost.

  • Strategic thinker who connects day-to-day program performance to the bigger picture - you can zoom out from a single roster or escalation to spot the pattern worth fixing structurally, and zoom back in to execute it.

  • A strong cross-functional partner and team player - you know how to work through peer teams and different personalities to drive your program’s outcomes, even when you don’t own every lever yourself.

  • Strong data fluency. You pull and interrogate your own SLA, completion, utilization, and cost-to-plan data and drive decisions from it - hands-on with SQL, Looker, and Excel - rather than waiting for someone to translate it for you.

  • A direct, clear communicator who authors and revises the procedures your programs run on - escalation playbooks, response plans, launch runbooks - rather than only following ones someone else wrote.

Nice to Have

Don’t let these stand in your way—they’re just added bonuses! If you meet most of the core requirements, we encourage you to apply.

  • Exposure to multi-state licensure, credentialing, or other regulated-workforce dynamics.

  • Experience launching or configuring new client programs in a marketplace or platform business.

  • Healthcare, telehealth, or regulated-workforce experience.

  • Marketplace or platform experience.

Salary and Perks

Pay Range: $122,075- $155,000 plus equity

Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors including, but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the role, the selected candidate’s work experience, education and training, the work location as well as market and business considerations.

Wheel is unable to consider sponsoring a new qualified applicant for employment authorization for this position.

As an employee of Wheel, you’ll enjoy our Total Rewards Program to help secure your financial future and preserve your health and well-being, including:

  • Medical, Dental and Vision

  • Ancillary: Life, Short and Long Term Disability

  • 401K match

  • Flexible PTO

  • Parental Leave

  • Stock options

  • Additional programs and perks

Wheel is committed to equal employment opportunities for all team members. Every decision we make regarding employment is solely based on merit, competence, and performance. We are committed to building a team that represents a variety of backgrounds, perspectives, and skills.

Research shows that underrepresented groups typically apply only if they meet 100% of the criteria listed. At Wheel, we encourage women, people of color, and LGBTQ+ job seekers to apply for positions even if they don’t check every box for the role.

Operations IT Service Manager at DataGrail

Manages IT infrastructure, endpoints, and business systems for a remote workforce while partnering with security on compliance and automation.

Mid Remote Posted 3 days ago RemoteFirstJobs Product
What this role involves

The Opportunity:

Data privacy has become one of the most strategic challenges facing modern enterprises, sitting at the intersection of AI governance, data operations, and customer trust. As companies adopt AI at scale, they need new ways to automate privacy and manage risk without slowing innovation. DataGrail has launched the first agentic privacy platform, and we’re entering a pivotal phase of growth as we scale toward the next stage of the business.

As an IT & Business Systems Manager, you’ll independently own IT and Business Systems for DataGrail, including endpoints, applications, and day-to-day operations for our team — operating with significant autonomy and shaping how the function runs, Reporting to the VP of Engineering, you’ll be the face of technology for DataGrail’s employees, the first call when something breaks, and the person building the automated, self-service systems that let the company scale without scaling manual support. You’ll partner closely with Security to build the controls DataGrail needs for ISO compliance, with real ownership over how this function evolves — and you’ll extend the security engineering function’s execution capacity, partnering hands-on across day-to-day security workstreams rather than simply implementing controls handed down from Security.

This is a chance to take a function in transition and build it into something modern: moving IT from reactive support to an automated, self-service operation, partnering directly with Security on ISO compliance, and growing the scope of the role as DataGrail scales.

What You’ll Do:

  • Own IT and business systems operations for DataGrail’s remote workforce, including endpoint management, identity, and the SaaS application footprint — provisioning and deprovisioning employee access across every tool, with an accurate inventory of renewals reviewed monthly.
  • Deliver hands-on technical support across the company, resolving issues at the desktop level and setting the standard for fast, first-call resolution.
  • Run onboarding and offboarding for the device and account lifecycle, delivering a smooth new-hire IT experience and a clean exit when people leave.
  • Partner with Security to build and maintain the access controls, endpoint policies, and audit trails required for ISO compliance.
  • Partner hands-on with DataGrail’s security engineer, executing across day-to-day security workstreams such as tooling rollouts, and access reviews.
  • Build automation and self-service tooling that reduces manual ticket volume while preserving strong controls and visibility.
  • Administer DataGrail’s Apple-based fleet end to end, from MDM policy to OS upgrades to hardware lifecycle.
  • Manage vendor relationships and DataGrail’s SaaS vendor management process — onboarding and offboarding vendors and maintaining accurate records ensuring technology spend goes toward the right long-term solutions.
  • Partner proactively across functions — surfacing IT needs, aligning on priorities, and serving as a reliable, go-to point of contact for teams that depend on IT — building the systems and automation that make it easy for cross-functional partners to self-serve

What You’ll Bring

  • Proven, senior-level experience independently owning a distributed, remote-first IT environment at a company DataGrail’s size — spanning endpoints, identity, and business applications, with full accountability for the function rather than execution against someone else’s roadmap.
  • A track record of operating with high autonomy — setting direction for the function, making judgment calls independently, and being trusted with minimal day-to-day oversight.
  • Hands-on experience administering MDM platforms (e.g., Kandji, Jamf, Hexnode) and Apple hardware and OS in an enterprise setting.
  • Strong understanding of identity and access management tools like Okta, and how they intersect with security and compliance requirements.
  • Experience building or maturing security and compliance controls, such as endpoint compliance or access reviews, ideally in support of a framework like ISO 27001.
  • Comfort executing on security initiatives you didn’t design, including vulnerability remediation, tooling rollouts, access reviews — working effectively in support of another owner’s strategy.
  • A track record of automating manual IT workflows through scripting or self-service tooling to reduce ticket volume and improve consistency.
  • Scripting experience in Python, and working with Claude Code and other AI tooling for building automation and self-service tools and supporting Security functions as needed. .
  • Experience managing IT vendor relationships and technology spend against a formal vendor management process.
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to translate technical issues for non-technical stakeholders.

Bonus Points

  • ISO 27001 (or similar framework) certification, or direct experience supporting an ISO audit.
  • Prior IT experience in a regulated industry or another SaaS company handling sensitive data.

What Success Looks Like

Within 90 Days You’ll:

  • Learn DataGrail’s systems, tools, and team, and take ownership of IT helpdesk coverage so employees have reliable, first-call support again.

Within 180 Days You’ll:

  • Independently own endpoint and access management, with foundational ISO-relevant controls in place, early automation and self-service initiatives underway, and functioning as an active hands-on execution partner to the security engineer.

Within 365 Days You’ll:

  • Have positioned DataGrail for ISO audit readiness, with self-service systems in place that reduce manual ticket handling while strengthening the company’s control and audit posture.

Please note that the base compensation range below is a guideline and the final compensation will be based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, and competencies. Our compensation ranges apply to all US-based job postings regardless of state.

All full-time regular employees are eligible for equity, health, dental & vision insurance plans, remote-first working environment, 401k savings plan, parental leave, wellness benefits, flexible time off, paid holidays, and a work from home stipend. Benefits are subject to change.

Compensation Range

$130,000—$175,000 USD

Operations Senior IT & Corporate Engineering at Flex

Leads IT and corporate engineering operations end-to-end, enabling fast and secure work for the entire organization by managing infrastructure, access, and tool adoption.

Senior Remote Posted 3 days ago RemoteFirstJobs Product
What this role involves

Flex is building the AI-native private bank for business owners.

We’re re-architecting the entire financial system for entrepreneurs—from the first dollar a business earns to how that value compounds, moves, and is ultimately spent in real life. Banking, credit, payments, personal finance, and financial operations—rebuilt from the ground up as a single, intelligent system. Flex is the full financial home for ambitious owners.

Since launching publicly in September 2023, Flex has scaled from zero to nine-figure annualized revenue, with a clear path to profitability by late 2026. We move fast, ship relentlessly, and operate with extreme ownership.

Our customers are affluent business owners ($3–$200M in revenue)—the backbone of the economy and one of the most underserved segments in finance. They’re stuck with outdated banks and fragmented tools. We’re replacing all of it. The opportunity is massive: a ~$1T+ revenue market hiding in plain sight. Our ambition is to build a $100B+ company by delivering a product that is fundamentally better—not incrementally improved.

Flex has raised $100M+ in equity and $300M+ in debt.

- Mission-critical problems: We build software that directly controls how money moves at scale.

- High bar, low ego: Small teams, exceptional people, real ownership.

- Speed over comfort: We prioritize execution, quality, clarity, and results.

- Enduring impact: What we’re building will define how a generation of owners runs their businesses.

Team & Locations

We hire exceptional people who want to build hard things and see their work matter immediately. Roles are available in: San Francisco, Miami, New York, and fully remote.

Flex Fuels Ambition.

About The Role

This role owns IT and corporate engineering at Flex, end to end. It reports directly to the CTO.

We think IT’s job is enablement. The measure of this function is not how many tickets it closes or how many controls it can point at. It is whether everyone else at Flex can do their work faster and more safely than they could last quarter. A new hire productive on day one instead of day four. An engineer who gets exactly the access they need in minutes, without asking twice and without being handed the keys to everything. A team that can adopt a new tool because someone reviewed it properly, not because they routed around IT to buy it on a personal card. So we are not looking for a gatekeeper, or for someone whose default answer is no. The right person makes the safe path the easy path, and removes friction permanently instead of absorbing it repeatedly.

Which is why this role also owns Flex’s corporate security posture. Identity, access, endpoints, and the SaaS estate are one system, and the person who makes access fast should be the person who decides how much access is reasonable. Split those across two teams and employees route around both. You’ll set conditional access and MFA policy, own privileged access and endpoint posture, and run third-party OAuth and Workspace grant review. Our security engineers own the product and infrastructure side, the money paths and the code, and you’ll work with them constantly. Corporate security is yours to decide, not to implement on someone else’s behalf.

This is the hard part of the job, and we’d rather say so than leave it as a bonus line. The argument between moving fast and holding a line is now an argument you have with yourself. Day to day, what gets tightened, what gets mitigated, and what we knowingly accept is your call; the large ones come to the CTO, and we’d rather see a close call early than find out you decided it quietly. What we’d ask is that a no comes from a real read of the risk and the business context rather than a standard applied by default.

The rest of the work has two halves. The IT half is the fleet, identity, access, the SaaS estate, and the joiner/mover/leaver process, delivered with help from a managed IT partner who handles procurement, device logistics, tier-1 support, and international coverage. You own that relationship, define the SLA, and enforce it. The corporate engineering half is the part we think makes this a good job: writing the automation and internal tooling that means the IT half doesn’t scale linearly with headcount. If a process only works because a person runs it by hand every Tuesday, we’d rather you replaced it.

You’d be inheriting an estate here, not starting one. The first year is as much untangling what has already accumulated - stale access, tools nobody reviewed, processes that work because someone remembers them - as it is building what comes next. Automate that assessment. Nobody should be reading through a SaaS estate by hand in 2026.

Now the shape of this. Flex is around 150 people, and you would be the only person in this function, with vendor capacity underneath you and a direct line to the CTO. That means real autonomy and real scope from week one. It also means this is a hands-on senior individual contributor role, not a management role, and we are not planning a team under it in the near term. If you’re looking to build and lead an IT organization right now, this isn’t that job, and we’d rather you knew before you applied.

We’re looking for an IT and corporate engineering builder who wants to own security posture, rather than a security specialist willing to cover IT. Both halves have to interest you. If the enablement work reads as the price of admission for the security work, this will be a frustrating job.

What You’ll Do

  • Own IT and corporate engineering end to end: the roadmap, the budget, the vendor relationships, and the outcomes.

  • Manage our external IT partner as delivery capacity, not as a peer function. Define the scope, set the SLA, hold them to it, and own the escalation path when it slips.

  • Design the joiner, mover, and leaver process and the entitlement model behind it. Make onboarding fast enough that a new hire is working on day one, and keep deprovisioning in-house and same-day, because it’s the highest-consequence action in IT.

  • Administer and improve our identity and productivity stack (Okta, Google Workspace, and the SaaS estate around them), including SSO, SCIM, and group and role design.

  • Own operational policy: device standards, the access-request workflow, and SaaS onboarding and procurement review. Review tools before people buy them, and make that review fast enough that nobody wants to skip it.

  • Build the automation. Provisioning, access reviews, asset and license reconciliation, and the internal tooling that removes recurring manual work across the SaaS estate.

  • Run the endpoint and MDM program across a distributed, increasingly international company, and keep the fleet in a state you’d be comfortable showing an auditor.

  • Own Flex’s corporate security posture. Conditional access, MFA, session and device rules, and privileged access are yours to set. So is endpoint posture, and the review of third-party OAuth and Workspace grants that quietly accumulate at every company this age.

  • Design and deliver the security awareness and training program. Not a once-a-year video, and not the version people click through with the sound off.

  • Partner with our security engineers, who own product and infrastructure security. The line runs between corporate and product, not between operating and deciding. You’ll bring them into identity decisions with blast radius, and they’ll rely on you for provisioning data they can trust.

  • Work closely with People, Finance, and Legal. Onboarding, offboarding, spend, and audit evidence all run through this function.

  • Be a real internal service. Publish what you own, respond when people ask, and find the friction before it turns into a workaround.

What Makes You A Great Fit

  • You think IT exists to make other people effective, and you can point at specific friction you removed rather than tickets you closed.

  • You write code. Not necessarily production services, but scripts, integrations, and glue that other people end up depending on.

  • You’d rather fix the process than get faster at the workaround.

  • You hold both sides of this honestly. You’ve said no to something that mattered, and you’ve also said yes to something a stricter version of you would have blocked, and you can explain both calls.

  • You’re comfortable being the only person in a function, and comfortable saying what you need instead of quietly absorbing it.

  • You know you can’t be in the loop on every request, and you don’t want to be. You build the self-service paths that let people get what they need without going through you.

  • You can hold a vendor accountable without turning the relationship adversarial.

  • You can tell a colleague, including a senior one, that what they’ve built can’t keep the access it has, explain why in plain language, and work alongside them to find a way that works.

  • You’re calm when something is broken and several people are watching.

  • You explain technical constraints clearly to people who don’t share your background, in writing, across time zones.

What We’re Looking For

  • Substantial hands-on experience owning IT or corporate engineering at a growing company, including a stretch where you were the most senior person doing the work. Roughly [6+] years is typical, but we care about what you’ve owned, not the year count.

  • Deep, hands-on ownership of an identity provider (Okta, Entra, JumpCloud, or similar) at the design layer: SSO, SCIM, SAML, group and entitlement modeling. Not just the admin console.

  • Practical experience running Google Workspace or Microsoft 365 as a platform.

  • Real MDM and endpoint experience across macOS, and ideally Windows, in a remote or hybrid company.

  • Automation ability in at least one scripting or programming language (Python, Go, TypeScript, or similar), and comfort with APIs and identity plumbing.

  • Experience designing an access model and running access reviews, not only fulfilling requests.

  • Real ownership of identity security decisions, not only their execution. You’ve set MFA or conditional access policy, tightened privileged access, or cleaned up third-party app grants, and you can talk about what you traded away to do it.

  • Track record managing an outsourced IT provider or MSP, or a clear-eyed view of why the ones you’ve worked with succeeded or failed.

  • Clear written communication. Much of this job is asynchronous and cross-team.

Strongly Preferred

  • Experience in a regulated or audited environment (SOC 2, PCI, or a bank partnership), as the control owner rather than the auditor.

  • Time as the senior security voice somewhere without a security team, or without a CISO to escalate to.

  • Experience supporting employees and contractors across multiple countries, including device logistics and local employment platforms.

  • Experience at a company that grew quickly enough that you had to replace your own early processes.

  • Experience introducing AI tooling internally in a way that was actually adopted and actually governed.

Operations Marketplace Operations Manager II at Wheel

Owns visit delivery, SLA commitments, and roster health for telehealth client programs, managing operational performance and cross-functional scaling initiatives.

  • Understanding of monitoring, error handling, retry behavior, fallback design, recovery procedures, and production change management.
  • Ability to translate operational needs into clear technical requirements and maintainable solutions.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including technical documentation and communication with technical and nontechnical stakeholders.
  • Ability to independently manage assigned work, make progress through ambiguity, and raise risks or dependencies early.
  • Sound judgment regarding platform governance, standardization, access controls, and the maintenance impact of technical decisions.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with advanced Zendesk development and extensibility capabilities such as the Zendesk Apps Framework (ZAF), custom objects, events and profiles, custom actions or action flows, Zendesk Copilot, intelligent triage, custom agents or procedures, or comparable platform capabilities.
  • Experience with Tray.ai, Workato or another enterprise integration and orchestration platform.

What this role involves

Our mission: e liminating every barrier to mental health.

Spring Health is a global mental health company on a mission to eliminate every barrier to mental health. We’re building a world where getting support is simple, personal, and built around the person, so care can continue through every job, move, health plan, and life stage.

Our AI-native platform helps us deliver personalized support across self-guided tools, coaching, therapy, medication management, and specialty care. With outcomes independently validated by JAMA Network Open and the Validation Institute, Spring Health reaches more than 170 million people worldwide through leading employers, health plans, and partners.

As an AI-native company, we believe technology should expand the reach, quality, and humanity of care. Every Spring Health team member is expected to use AI tools thoughtfully, apply human judgment to AI outputs, and keep building AI fluency in ways that support their role and our mission.

The CX Tooling Engineer will design, build, and operate the systems that power Spring Health’s customer experience and support operations at scale.

This role sits within Technology in the Care Division’s Engineering Department and supports production systems across Zendesk, Zendesk Contact Center built on Amazon Connect, Tray.ai, Talkdesk, Decagon and approved operational AI integrations. You will combine platform configuration, workflow automation, systems integration, and technical problem-solving to improve reliability, reduce manual work, and create durable solutions for teams operating in a regulated environment.

You will work closely with Operations, Product, Engineering, Data, Security, Legal, Compliance, and external implementation partners to translate business needs into scalable technical solutions.

This is a full-time, remote position reporting to the Senior Manager of Tooling Management. No regular travel is required; occasional travel for team and company onsites may be requested.

What you’ll do

  • Design, configure, test, and maintain Zendesk architecture and extensibility, including forms, fields, triggers, automations, service-level agreements, skills, queues, views, permissions, applications, routing logic, custom data structures, integrations, and workflow automation.
  • Build and operate contact-center infrastructure using Zendesk Contact Center and Amazon Connect, including contact flows, queues, routing profiles, phone numbers, recording, voicemail, after-hours behavior, overflow, crisis routing, and escalation paths.
  • Design, build, and maintain cross-system workflows in Tray.ai using APIs, webhooks, authentication, conditional logic, data transformation, document-processing services, and controlled system writeback.
  • Support approved AI-enabled chat, voice, email, and agent-assist workflows by implementing eligibility rules, intent capture, verification, ticket creation, escalation, human handoff, fallback behavior, access controls, data-minimization or redaction controls where required, auditability, and operational safeguards.
  • Design solutions with clear system boundaries, dependencies, data flows, and failure modes, considering scalability, reliability, security, maintainability, accessibility, and approved privacy and regulatory requirements, including requirements related to PHI, PII, recording, retention, and regional regulations.
  • Monitor platform and workflow health, investigate routing defects, hidden or stale work, status conflicts, integration failures, and reporting gaps, and use operational data and root-cause analysis to implement durable corrective actions.
  • Build scalable tooling, permissions, routing, integrations, and service-transition controls that support global launches, specialized teams, outsourced support partners, and round-the-clock operations, replacing brittle or duplicative configurations with standardized and reusable patterns where practical.
  • Support centralized tooling intake and partner with Product, Engineering, Data, Security, Legal, Compliance, and operational stakeholders to clarify business impact, translate requests into technical requirements, identify dependencies and risks, estimate effort, define acceptance criteria, and validate outcomes.
  • Coordinate with platform vendors and implementation partners on technical requirements, sequencing, dependencies, testing, issue escalation, and delivery quality, while communicating technical decisions, risks, and tradeoffs clearly to technical and nontechnical stakeholders.
  • Deliver production changes with appropriate testing, monitoring, logging, alerting, validation, rollback, and recovery procedures, and maintain architecture diagrams, workflow inventories, test plans, change records, release communications, runbooks, and platform standards.

What success looks like in this role

  • Assigned routing, telephony, automation, and integration workflows consistently meet established reliability and successful-execution targets.
  • Platform enhancements are delivered against agreed scope, acceptance criteria, testing requirements, and delivery expectations, with risks and dependencies raised early.
  • Routing defects, silent failures, stale work, and recurring configuration issues decline from established baselines through monitoring, root-cause remediation, and reusable solutions.
  • Eligible repeatable work is increasingly handled through automation or standardized platform patterns, with reductions in manual effort measured.
  • AI-enabled workflows demonstrate reliable eligibility, escalation, human-handoff, and fallback behavior within approved use cases.
  • Tooling improvements contribute to measurable gains in routing accuracy, first-reply time, resolution time, support capacity, platform reliability, or cost per interaction.
  • Material production changes include documented testing, monitoring, ownership, validation, rollback, and recovery procedures.

What you’ll bring

  • 3+ years of experience administering, engineering, or operating customer experience, contact-center, workflow, automation, and integration platforms in a production environment.
  • Hands-on experience with Zendesk configuration and architecture, including business rules, forms, fields, routing, permissions, applications, integrations, or comparable platform capabilities.
  • Experience with an enterprise contact-center platform such as Amazon Connect, Zendesk Contact Center, Talkdesk, Genesys Cloud, Five9, Twilio Flex, or a comparable platform.
  • Experience configuring interactive voice response or contact flows, queues, routing logic, phone numbers, recording, voicemail, overflow, after-hours, or escalation behavior.
  • Working knowledge of REST APIs, webhooks, JSON, authentication, data transformation, and API-testing tools.
  • Experience building or maintaining production workflows using an integration, automation, or orchestration platform such as Tray.ai, Workato, or a comparable platform.
  • Experience troubleshooting production issues and identifying underlying technical or process causes.

  • Experience integrating AI-enabled support platforms, conversational AI tools, or large language model services, such as Decagon, OpenAI, Anthropic Claude, Zendesk AI/Copilot, or comparable technologies into operational workflows.
  • Experience supporting contact-center infrastructure across multiple countries, outsourced support teams, or round-the-clock operations.
  • Familiarity with call-recording consent, privacy, retention, data residency, accessibility, or regional telecommunications requirements.
  • Experience with DocuSign, document processing, fax automation, customer relationship management integrations, or similar operational systems.
  • Experience working in healthcare, financial services, insurance, or another regulated environment.
  • Familiarity with infrastructure as code, automated testing, structured deployment practices, or configuration version control.
  • Experience with incident response, root-cause analysis, production observability, or reliability engineering practices.

Operations Remote Executive Assistant to Founder - Startup Support at FreedUp

Manages founder's calendar, email, meetings, and administrative tasks while supporting fundraising and investor relationship coordination for an early-stage AI startup.

Mid Remote Posted 5 days ago RemoteFirstJobs Product
What this role involves

FreedUp is seeking a proactive Executive Assistant to support the Founder of Orderly AI, an early-stage AI startup currently raising its seed round. The founder is juggling fundraising, investor and VC networking, product marketing, and customer-facing work — and needs everything that isn’t fundraising, networking, or selling taken off his plate.

This role starts on lower-agency, clearly-scoped tasks (calendar management, follow-ups, meeting prep, drafted-not-sent emails) with the expectation that trust and scope grow quickly as the assistant proves reliable. The founder has never worked with an assistant before, so this person should be comfortable building context fast, working independently, and earning delegation of higher-agency tasks over time rather than waiting to be handed them.

This is a full-time, remote position that requires strong written communication, organizational excellence, and accountability.

Location: Fully Remote

Job Type: Full-Time

Salary: $1,000 - $1,700 per month (based on experience)

  • 3+ years of experience as an Executive Assistant, Executive Coordinator, or similar role supporting a founder or senior executive — startup experience is a strong plus.
  • Excellent written English; comfortable drafting emails and messages in someone else’s voice.
  • Highly organized, with the ability to track a large volume of ongoing conversations, follow-ups, and introductions without anything slipping.
  • Comfortable working closely with a first-time founder who is still building trust in delegation — patient, clear, and consistent rather than needing everything spelled out twice.
  • Tech-savvy and comfortable with Google Workspace, Slack, and similar tools.

Key Responsibilities

  • Calendar Management: Own scheduling across a high volume of virtual and in-person meetings — VC meetings, networking, demos, and customer onboarding calls.

  • Follow-Up & Relationship Tracking: Keep track of the “endless web of conversations” — who’s owed a follow-up, who needs an introduction, and make sure nothing is dropped.

  • Meeting Prep: Prepare the founder for VC meetings, customer calls, and networking conversations.

  • Email Support: Draft emails and messages on the founder’s behalf based on quick verbal direction, with a review-before-send step on anything sensitive (e.g., investor communications).

  • Investor Updates: Support drafting and coordinating monthly investor updates.

  • Light Personal/Business Admin: Take on ad hoc admin and logistics as trust builds — this may expand over time as the founder gets comfortable delegating.

  • International experience

  • Opportunity to work remotely from anywhere

  • Supportive and collaborative team environment

  • Learning and development opportunities

  • Potential Performance Bonuses

  • PTO

  • HMO after 3 months
