Engineer Applications Engineer (Texas) at Standard Bots

Applications Engineer designs, installs, and supports robotic automation solutions for customers on factory floors, combining mechanical, electrical, and software expertise.

Mid Onsite Posted about 23 hours ago RemoteFirstJobs Product
What this role involves

About Standard Bots

Standard Bot’s mission is to significantly lower the barrier to entry to real-world

automation, bringing the power of bits to the world of atoms and unlocking

productivity for entire new industries and users. Our user facing applications and APIs

unlock the power of automation for entire new use cases. A relentless focus on

simplicity and ease of use brings the revolutionary potential of robotic automation to

new users and industries. The Applications Engineering team drives forwards the

company’s mission by designing solutions around, installing and supporting Standard

Bot’s innovative 6 axis robot.

Note: This role requires up to 50% domestic travel. That number goes down as we grow the team, but right now you’re in the field – a lot. If that’s not for you, this probably isn’t the right fit.

Also note: If you’re looking for a role where you train models and push code, this isn’t it. This is a mechanical + electrical + software trifecta that happens to use AI as a tool. The factory floor is your office.

We are unable to offer Visa sponsorship for this role.

About the Role:

We’re looking for seasoned and skilled customer facing problem-solvers to help

architect the future of robotics through the design, installation and support of

innovative new robotic solutions. As a Applications Engineer you will work with other

engineers, organizational leaders, sales and customers to design, install and support

solutions for our customers in new and exciting robotic applications.

What You’ll Do:

  • Partner with sales and customers to design robotic solutions for novel applications, serving as a trusted technical resource throughout the sales cycle

  • Own installations end-to-end — traveling to customer sites to install, program, and validate Standard Bots solutions in the field

  • Create technical enablement materials including sample code, application notes, and white papers that help customers get the most out of our platform

  • Collaborate with in-house engineering to test and refine new features and integrations as our product expands

  • Contribute to marketing efforts by developing collateral that communicates the value of Standard Bots solutions to prospective customers

What you’ll bring:

  • Technical Depth: You have hands-on experience across electrical, software, and mechanical systems — you’re comfortable with DC power, understand NPN vs. PNP, can write Python scripts, and can navigate CAD tools like SolidWorks

  • Industry Fluency: You have hands-on experience in automotive, manufacturing, or industrial automation environments — you understand the constraints, workflows, and stakeholders that come with deploying technology on a factory floor

  • Operational Context: You’ve worked alongside or within production or assembly environments and can speak credibly to customers about cycle times, uptime requirements, safety standards, and integration with existing equipment

  • Growth Mindset: You’re energized by new domains and challenges, and you pick up context quickly to maximize your impact

  • Clear Communication: You communicate with precision and empathy — in writing, in person, and across technical and non-technical audiences

  • Bias for Impact: You prioritize user outcomes over technical elegance, and you execute with urgency

  • Proactive Simplicity: You default to simple, reliable solutions and proactively flag opportunities to improve on what’s proposed or already in place

  • Thrives in Ambiguity: You do your best work in fast-moving, high-expectation environments alongside a diverse team

Compensation and Benefits:

The salary range for this role is $80,000 to $120,000, depending on experience. We are open to a variety of seniority levels for this role and will build compensation packages that are commensurate with seniority and skill level. Base salary is just one part of the overall compensation at Standard Bots. All Full-Time Employees are eligible for Employee Stock Options. We also offer a package of benefits including paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance, life insurance, disability insurance, and 401(k) to regular full-time employees.

Engineer Site Reliability Engineer, Traffic Infrastructure at Taboola

Site Reliability Engineer manages traffic infrastructure, CDN configuration, load balancing, and networking at massive scale with hands-on Linux and production systems expertise.

Senior Onsite Posted 2 days ago RemoteFirstJobs Product
What this role involves

As a Site Reliability Engineer in the R&D Infrastructure department in our Tel Aviv Office, you’ll own the path every request takes before it reaches a service: The CDN edge, the anycast VIPs behind it, a large fleet of open source load balancers and service mesh components. At peak that chain carries millions requests per second on the way to serving tens of billions of recommendations a day.

We need a networking specialist who doesn’t stop at the wire. You bring in depth networking knowledge, native Linux fluency and modern coding practices with the diagnostic intuition to debug complex interactions between BGP enabled nodes, reverse proxies and application logs.

To thrive in this role, you’ll need:

  • 5+ years running production organization with internet-facing traffic infrastructure at very large scale, with deep understanding of TCP/IP stack (BGP, anycast, ECMP, DNS-based traffic steering, TCP, TLS, HTTP/2 and HTTP/3).
  • Deep hands-on ownership of L7 proxies in production: Nginx, HAProxy or Envoy/Istio, covering configuration at scale, performance tuning and the class of bugs that only appear under real load.
  • Production experience with a commercial CDN such as Fastly, Cloudflare, Akamai or CloudFront, including edge logic, cache policy and origin protection.
  • Fluency in Linux networking internals and packet-level diagnosis: tcpdump, conntrack, nftables/iptables, socket and TCP tuning.
  • Coding ability that goes past scripting. You will be building tooling and not only editing configuration files.
  • Kubernetes networking depth covering CNI internals, kube-proxy, ingress and east-west traffic policy.

Bonus points if you have:

  • A background in traffic observability, whether flow telemetry, real-user monitoring or synthetic probing across regions.

How you’ll make an impact:

  • Own the full path a request takes from user to service: CDN configuration, TLS termination, load-balancing policy and failover behavior.
  • Move our proxy and CDN configuration into code with review, testing and staged rollout replacing hand edits in production.
  • Lead the cross-layer investigations nobody else can close from an anycast withdrawal down to a single misbehaving upstream.
  • Plan capacity and drain procedures for the traffic tier so that losing a POP or an entire data center stays invisible to users.
  • Take part in the on-call rotation, lead incident response and turn post-mortems into permanent fixes in the traffic layer.

Why Taboola?

If you ask Taboolars what they love about working here, they’ll tell you that they’ve been empowered to realize their full potential while growing and learning with smart, talented people:

  • Adam Singolda, Taboola Founder and CEO says: “You can copy anything from another business, but you can’t copy a company’s culture.”
  • Well-being: Enjoy comprehensive benefits (health, etc.), a fully stocked kitchen, and location-specific perks (gym partnerships, parking).
  • Flexibility: We offer a hybrid work schedule (3 days in-office) with flexibility.
  • Work with global leaders: Our publisher partners include Yahoo, Fox Sports, NBCU, ESPN, and CBS, while our clients include major global brands.

What this role involves

About Snorkel

At Snorkel, we believe meaningful AI doesn’t start with the model, it starts with the data.

We’re on a mission to help enterprises transform expert knowledge into specialized AI at scale. The AI landscape has gone through incredible changes since 2015, when Snorkel started as a research project in the Stanford AI Lab, to the generative AI breakthroughs of today. But one thing has remained constant: the data you use to build AI is the key to achieving differentiation, high performance, and production-ready systems. We work with some of the world’s largest organizations to empower scientists, engineers, financial experts, product creators, journalists, and more to build custom AI with their data faster than ever before. Excited to help us redefine how AI is built? Apply to be the newest Snorkeler!

Director, GTM Systems & AI Transformation

Reports to: VP, Revenue Operations Team: Senior GTM Transformation Specialist, Senior GTM Engineer Location: San Francisco

About the Role

Snorkel AI’s Revenue Operations team designs, builds, and runs the systems, data, and processes that power our Go-to-Market motion. The Director, GTM Systems & AI Transformation leads that effort end-to-end — from systems architecture to workflow automation to AI-enabled process innovation — and manages a small, high-leverage systems team.

This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who can own the technical roadmap and transform the GTM motion. You’ll partner directly with Sales, Delivery, Marketing, Finance, and Legal to make sure our systems reflect how the business actually needs to run, and you’ll be a trusted business partner to every team you touch.

What You’ll Own

Systems Strategy & Architecture

  • Partner with GTM leaders to define and evolve the systems architecture strategy across Sales, Delivery, Customer Success, Marketing, and more
  • Set the roadmap for Salesforce and the broader GTM stack (Gong, Clay, Ironclad, Float, CPQ, billing/revenue automation, and future tooling)
  • Own Salesforce architecture, data integrity, and data hygiene as the foundation of the role — new automation and AI initiatives get built on top of a clean, well-governed baseline
  • Own vendor relationships and renewals across the GTM stack

Team Leadership

  • Manage and grow the team, setting priorities and reviewing technical design
  • Turn ambiguous business requests from Sales, Delivery, and Finance into scoped, shippable system changes
  • Establish an intake, prioritization, and release process so the team moves from reactive to proactive and keeps stakeholders informed

Data Governance & Process

  • Define and enforce data hygiene standards and field/object governance across the CRM
  • Own the orchestration and reliability of revenue data across the GTM ecosystem
  • Partner with systems and data operations teams to ensure data quality, governance, and visibility across core GTM platforms
  • Help architecture lead-to-cash processes — handoffs, approvals, escalation paths across Sales, Delivery, and Finance
  • Partner with Enablement to roll out new features and ensure technology adoption

Automation & AI

  • Lead AI transformation across GTM by identifying workflow automation and AI-enabled opportunities across the GTM funnel
  • Implement high-impact AI use cases across the GTM lifecycle, including pipeline management, prospecting intelligence, forecasting signals, and customer insights.
  • Define and evolve standardized end-to-end GTM processes that streamline execution through automation, integrations between systems, and the use of AI.

What You’ll Bring

  • 10+ years in Revenue/Sales/GTM Operations, Business Systems, or CRM architecture, including 3+ years leading and developing high-performing technical teams
  • Deep, architecture-level Salesforce expertise (object model design, automation, integrations); certifications a plus
  • Experience owning a GTM tool stack beyond Salesforce (forecasting tools, CLM, data enrichment, billing systems)
  • Hands-on experience developing with AI tools, scaling AI-based solutions, and managing modern technology stacks, combined with the operational pragmatism to know when and how to deploy them effectively
  • Strong prioritization and project management skills in fast-moving environments
  • Exceptional communication and collaboration skills with executives, sales managers, sales reps, cross-departmental leaders, and IT
  • Comfort operating in a fast-moving, ambiguous environment — startup or high-growth company experience strongly preferred
  • Strong systems thinking and ability to design durable, scalable solutions instead of one-off fixes
  • Deep comprehension of the business motions across Marketing, Sales, and Delivery, and the judgment to know where technology and AI can move the needle for each

This role is hybrid schedule for 3 days a week in our Downtown SF office.

Actual compensation will be determined based on factors including skills, qualifications, experience, and geographic location.

Salary range(s) for this role

$225,000—$290,000 USD
