Marketing Powered by search: Senior Performance Marketing Strategist

Leads paid media strategy for B2B clients, manages Google Ads/LinkedIn/Meta campaigns, and translates performance data into business recommendations for senior stakeholders.

Senior Remote Posted about 6 hours ago We Work Remotely — Programming
What this role involves

Headquarters: Toronto
URL: https://www.poweredbysearch.com/

Ready to own paid media strategy for some of the fastest-growing B2B companies?

If you can run a Google Ads account (LinkedIn and Meta, too) with precision, and guide conversations with conviction, composure and confidence, we want to talk to you.

We're looking for a Paid Media Strategist who can lead senior client conversations, turn campaign complexity into clear business recommendations, and confidently explain what matters, why it matters, and what should happen next.

Our mission at Powered by Search

We exist to make B2B companies unstoppable, doing work we love, with people we like, how we want. We are a global, fully remote team across 8+ countries.

We have a talented and diverse team that live by our core values:

  • Always be in it to win it.
  • Give a shit.
  • Be obsessed with serving others.
  • Practice a growth mindset.
  • When we fail, don’t lose the lesson.

The opportunity

As a trusted advisor to fast-growing B2B companies, you'll join a high performing team rated 4.8/5 on Glassdoor, where 95% of team members recommend us. This is a client-facing strategic paid media role. You won't just build campaigns or ship reports. You will lead calls, set the agenda, guide clients toward decisions, and connect every dollar of spend to pipeline and revenue.

What sets you apart
  • You lead senior client conversations with clarity, confidence, and commercial judgment
  • You keep control of a call: set the agenda, handle pushback thoughtfully in the moment, land on decisions and next steps
  • You report on the metrics the client's business runs on (demos, pipeline, revenue), never vanity metrics
  • You translate campaign data into plain-language recommendations a CMO can act on
  • You come to every conversation with a recommendation, not just a list of options
  • You spot risks, opportunities, and blockers before the client has to ask
  • You can deliver honest, sometimes difficult feedback in a way clients trust
  • You respectfully coach up and teach clients at multiple levels, from Marketing Managers to CMOs

Key responsibilities

Strategic Leadership

  • Develop paid media strategies aligned to each client's business goals and North Star Metric
  • Own forecasting and budget pacing against quarterly and annual targets
  • Lead monthly and quarterly reviews with senior stakeholders: results, tradeoffs, risks, next actions
  • Steer client conversations toward decisions, priorities, and committed next steps
  • Drive AI-assisted campaign strategy, creative testing, and measurement

Client Success

  • Manage and grow a portfolio of 4-7 B2B clients as their primary strategic contact
  • Build trust with senior marketing, demand gen, and executive stakeholders
  • Run calls with confidence: set agendas, control the room, handle hard questions live
  • Communicate progress, risks, and recommendations before the client asks
  • Own follow-through so every conversation ends with clear actions, owners, and timelines

Technical Excellence

  • Plan, launch, and optimize across Google, Microsoft, LinkedIn, and Meta Ads
  • Own conversion tracking integrity end to end (GA4, GTM, CRM); never launch without it
  • Diagnose performance issues at the root: tracking, structure, bidding, creative, or demand
  • Prioritize by business impact, effort, and implementation reality; QA everything before it ships

Required experience

  • 3+ years hands-on B2B paid media, with at least 1 year in B2B SaaS
  • Prior client-facing strategy role where you owned communication, not just execution
  • Track record hitting MQL, SQL, or pipeline targets for B2B clients
  • Direct responsibility for at least $50k in monthly ad spend across multiple accounts
  • Google Ads depth plus at least one of LinkedIn, Meta, or Microsoft Ads
  • Working command of GA4, GTM, and CRM attribution (HubSpot, Salesforce)
  • Written and spoken communication skills strong enough to lead senior calls and defend recommendations under pressure

Perks & Benefits:

  • This role is fully remote
  • 5 weeks of paid time off
  • We offer competitive compensation plus quarterly bonuses
  • Flexible working hours (requires 4 overlap hours with 9am - 5pm EST)
  • Paid training (school, events, conferences)
  • *For full-time Canadian residents only - comprehensive health, dental, and eye care

This role may not be a fit if

  • You prefer optimizing accounts without leading the client relationship
  • You need someone else to turn your analysis into client-ready recommendations
  • You lose the thread when a senior stakeholder challenges your numbers on a live call
  • You report platform metrics (CTR, CPC, impressions) as results rather than business outcomes
  • You prefer being handed tasks rather than owning outcomes, priorities, and follow-through

The Opportunity

As a trusted advisor to fast-growing B2B SaaS companies, you'll join an elite team rated 5/5 ★★★★★ on Glassdoor, where 99% of team members recommend us to their peers.

This is a client-facing strategic SEO role. You won’t just be auditing websites or creating recommendations in isolation. You’ll be expected to lead conversations, explain tradeoffs, guide clients toward decisions, and connect SEO work to business outcomes.

You'll have the freedom to:

  • Drive holistic SEO strategies that deliver measurable business impact
  • Build strong, strategic relationships with SaaS marketing leaders
  • Shape the future of SEO in an AI-first search landscape
  • Work with a team that values strategic thinking as much as technical expertise
  • Own client outcomes through clear strategy, communication, and follow-through

What Sets You Apart

You're an ideal fit if you:

  • Can lead senior client conversations with clarity, confidence, and commercial judgment
  • Translate technical SEO insights into plain-English business recommendations
  • Connect SEO initiatives to pipeline, revenue, retention, and client priorities
  • Build trust with clients by communicating clearly, proactively, and directly
  • Get energized by analyzing data and uncovering actionable insights

  • Embrace our core values:
    • Give a Sh!t
    • Always Be in It To Win It
    • Be Obsessed with Serving Others

  • Create and present clear performance narratives that explain results, tradeoffs, risks, and next actions

  • Communicate progress, risks, and recommendations in a way clients can understand and act on

Technical Excellence — 20%

  • Guide technical SEO implementation and optimization
  • Identify technical, content, and authority-building opportunities that can improve organic performance
  • Develop and optimize conversion-focused SEO funnels
  • Integrate GA4, GTM, and reporting tools to generate useful performance insights
  • Recommend and guide advanced schema markup strategies
  • Prioritize SEO recommendations based on business impact, effort, and implementation realities

Required Experience

  • 5+ years of SEO experience, with at least 2 year focused on B2B SaaS
  • Previous experience in a client-facing SEO strategy role where you owned client communication, not just execution
  • Proven track record of driving organic growth for B2B or enterprise clients
  • Strong portfolio of successful client relationships and retention
  • Deep understanding of technical SEO, content strategy, analytics, and SEO performance measurement
  • Experience with GA4, GTM, and modern SEO tools
  • Excellent written and spoken English, with the ability to lead client calls, explain SEO recommendations clearly, and write concise client-ready updates
  • Strong judgment in prioritizing SEO work based on business impact, client context, and implementation realities
  • Ability to present performance, risks, opportunities, and next steps clearly to senior stakeholders

This Role May Not Be a Fit If

  • You prefer doing SEO execution without leading client conversations
  • You struggle to explain SEO concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders
  • You need someone else to turn your analysis into client-ready recommendations
  • You are uncomfortable challenging assumptions, clarifying tradeoffs, or guiding senior clients toward decisions
  • Your written or spoken English is not strong enough for live client-facing strategy conversations
  • You prefer being handed tasks rather than owning outcomes, priorities, and client follow-through

Why Join Us?

  • Work with a team that values strategic thinking and innovation
  • Competitive base salary plus quarterly performance bonuses
  • 5 weeks of paid time off
  • Fully remote work environment with flexible hours — you just need at least 4 hours of daily overlap with North American time zones

Engineer Senior Machine Learning Engineer at Talent Inc.

Senior ML Engineer owns end-to-end machine learning products from problem definition through production, using AI-native development tools to ship autonomous systems and canonical data infrastructure.

Senior Remote Posted about 23 hours ago RemoteFirstJobs Product
What this role involves

THE COMPANY

Careerminds is a leader in career transition and coaching solutions, helping organizations support employees through change while enabling workforce growth and development. Our product portfolio includes market-leading Career Transition and Coaching Services as well as Progression, our application for Career Frameworks and progression planning.

THE ROLE

We’re growing our machine learning team. We’re looking for Machine Learning Engineers who own products end to end — from the problem, to production, to the metric that proves it worked.

This role exists because of how we build. A small product strategy team sets direction and priorities; engineers own the work end to end — discovery, design, build, ship, and the result. You’ll have the autonomy of a founder inside your domain and the accountability that comes with it.

That accountability includes the unglamorous half of ML. You own the experiment that doesn’t pan out and the call to kill it, not just the launch. We’d rather you run four honest experiments and ship the one that works than ship four things that all look fine on a dashboard.

AI-native development isn’t an aspiration here — it’s the baseline. Our engineers ship with Claude Code and Claude Design as their default tools, and the leverage that creates is why one engineer can own a product end to end.

We want people already working this way who want to push the ceiling higher, not people who are curious about AI. In the interview we’ll ask you to show us the trail: repos, PRs, or shipped work you built this way.

This is a 100% remote/work-from-home role.

THE KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Depending on area of focus:

Canonical data and entity resolution

  • Canonical datasets for titles, companies, skills, and industries — the layer every application depends on. Content-addressed IDs, faceted taxonomies, alias graphs accumulated across tens of millions of rows.
  • Rules-based resolution pipelines with LLM escalation, where the accumulated alias graph is the durable asset and escalation volume should fall over time.
  • Nightly agent loops that adjudicate ambiguous entities, propose structural changes, and get gated by invariant checks and blast-radius limits before anything commits.
  • Job ingestion at scale: multi-source feeds, deduplication, freshness, and the indexing economics underneath.

Retrieval, ranking, and matching

  • Job matching v2: two-tower retrieval with cross-encoder reranking, trained on outcome labels rather than clicks. Hard-negative mining, propensity weighting, impression-time logging.
  • Mobility embeddings learned from observed career sequences — the similarity a text encoder can’t recover, where Claims Adjuster and Underwriting Assistant are substitutable despite sharing no vocabulary.
  • Pivot feasibility: given where someone is, what moves are realistic, what’s missing, and which intermediate roles actually worked for peers.

Applied LLMs and agents

  • Fine-tuning where it earns its cost — against outcome labels, not for tasks a well-prompted frontier model already handles.
  • Agentic systems in production with human approval gates: agents that analyze, propose changes as reviewable artifacts, and execute only after a human signs off. We have this pattern running against tens of millions of customer touchpoints a year and want to push it much further.
  • Continuous skills inference from work artifacts rather than static documents — a problem several of our enterprise customers are currently solving for themselves, badly.
  • New product surfaces where the right answer genuinely requires an LLM, and the discipline to notice when it doesn’t.

Across all of it

  • Evaluation infrastructure you’d defend in a design review: time-forward splits, calibration, offline-to-online agreement, and honest handling of feedback-loop degeneration and survivorship bias.
  • Building inside real constraints: GDPR, EU AI Act high-risk classification for employment AI, and client data commitments are design inputs here, not someone else’s problem.

THE MUST-HAVES

  • 5+ years shipping ML systems into production — and you can name the system, the metric before and after, and how you knew the model caused the change.
  • Depth in both classical ML and deep learning (PyTorch or TensorFlow) applied to live products, not notebooks and Kaggle sets.
  • Working fluency with LLMs in production — retrieval, evals, prompt and context engineering, and the judgment to recognize when an LLM is the wrong tool.
  • You already ship with agentic coding tools — Claude Code, Claude Design, or close equivalents — and can point to work you built with them.
  • Software engineering fundamentals strong enough to own your own deploys — Python, Git, cloud (we run AWS), containers, and the patience for genuinely messy, human-authored, self-reported data.

THE NICE-TO-HAVES

  • Entity resolution, record linkage, or taxonomy design at scale
  • Ranking, recommendation, or two-tower retrieval systems
  • Sequence models on longitudinal or event-stream data
  • Embedding and vector retrieval systems in production
  • Experiment design, causal inference, or off-policy evaluation
  • Warehouse-native ML (dbt, Snowflake, or similar)
  • Labor market, HR tech, or people-data domain experience
  • Open-source contributions or publications

At Careerminds, we believe that diversity in thought and cultural background leads to better teams and stronger companies. We seek talented, qualified employees, regardless of race, color, sex/gender (including pregnancy, gender identity, and gender expression), national origin, religion, sexual orientation, disability, age, marital status, citizen status, veteran status, or any other protected classification under country or local law. Careerminds is proud to be an Equal Employment Opportunity Employer.

Come join our team. Together, we’ll help others tell their career stories and land their dream jobs.

Finance Financial Planning & Analysis at Stedi

FP&A professional builds financial models, forecasts, and strategic analyses while automating financial processes and leveraging modern tools to support company growth and decision-making.

Senior Posted about 23 hours ago RemoteFirstJobs Product
What this role involves

We’re building a new healthcare clearinghouse

Stedi is the only headless clearinghouse and RCM engine. Headless means every part of our product is accessible via API. Developers and AI agents build their own interface on top of it. By offering modern, AI-ready APIs alongside traditional real-time and batch EDI processes, we enable both healthcare technology businesses and established players to exchange mission-critical transactions. Our clearinghouse product and customer-first approach have set us apart. Stedi was ranked by Ramp as one of the fastest-growing SaaS vendors.

Stedi has lightning in a bottle: engineers and designers shipping products week in and week out; a lean business team supporting the company’s infrastructure; a passion for automation and eliminating toil; and $142 million in funding from top investors like Stripe, Addition, USV, Bloomberg Beta, First Round Capital, and more.

To see what we ship, watch the 2026 Stedi Keynote. To learn more about how we work, watch our founder Zack’s interview with First Round Capital.

What we’re looking for

We’re hiring an experienced FP&A professional to raise the bar for business operations as Stedi enters its next stage of growth. You will build upon our existing models, metrics, and systems to deepen our understanding of the business, improve the accuracy and sophistication of our forecasts, and ensure our financial infrastructure scales with the company. You will report to the Head of Finance & Operations and work closely with our CEO and leaders across the company.

You will do more than operate existing FP&A processes or drive standard budgeting work. You will develop a deep understanding of how the business operates and use that foundation to tackle difficult strategic financial and operational questions. We have a high bar for accuracy and trust in our financial reporting, and you will be expected to understand the numbers from the source data through the final output.

We also expect you to aggressively leverage technology, looking for opportunities to automate manual work, improve how financial data flows, and use modern tools and AI to make our forecasting and analysis faster, more reliable, and more scalable.

The ideal candidate combines exceptional financial and analytical rigor with a builder’s mindset. You should be equally comfortable tracing a number back to its source, designing a model from scratch, and taking a difficult, ambiguous business question and turning it into rigorous analysis. If you care deeply about understanding the drivers of a business, translating them into rigorous models and forecasts, and building systems that become more powerful and trustworthy as the company scales, this role will provide meaningful ownership and impact.

What you’ll do

  • Own and continuously improve Stedi’s company financial model, including revenue, expenses, headcount, cash, and long-range forecasting

  • Build the metrics, models, and reporting infrastructure we use to understand business performance, with a high bar for accuracy, consistency, and traceability to underlying data

  • Own our annual planning and ongoing forecasting processes, developing assumptions and models that reflect how the business actually operates rather than relying on static or top-down forecasts

  • Develop reporting and analysis that clearly explains performance against plan, including the underlying drivers of revenue growth, gross margin, operating expenses, and cash

  • Partner closely with Accounting to digest monthly results and relevant accounting considerations, comparing projections to actuals and translating performance into reliable management reporting, forecasts, and models

  • Build models to answer difficult strategic questions across the business, including customer and product economics, pricing, gross margin, infrastructure costs, investment decisions, and long-range growth scenarios

  • Own headcount and spend planning across the company, ensuring our forecasts accurately reflect hiring plans, commitments, and other expected investments

  • Develop and maintain cash and runway forecasts that give leadership a clear view into our capital needs under a range of operating scenarios

  • Automate financial data collection, reporting, and analysis wherever possible, using modern tooling and AI to eliminate manual work and improve the speed and reliability of our financial systems

  • Work directly with the Head of Finance & Operations and CEO on financial analysis for major company decisions, board discussions, and other high-priority strategic questions

Who you are

  • You have 4+ years of experience across FP&A, strategic finance, investment banking, private equity, consulting, or similarly rigorous analytical roles, including meaningful experience operating inside a high-growth startup

  • You have exceptional financial modeling skills and can independently build a model from raw inputs through a decision-ready output

  • You understand the relationship between financial statements and operating metrics and can connect the underlying mechanics of the business to financial performance, and accurate forecasts and analysis

  • You are highly technical for a finance professional. You look for opportunities to automate workflows, work directly with underlying data, and use modern tools and AI to build financial systems that are faster, more reliable, and less dependent on manual processes

  • You can independently take an ambiguous strategic question, determine what actually matters, structure the analysis, and develop a rigorous answer

  • You communicate complex financial analysis clearly. You can explain not only what changed, but why it changed, what matters, and what we should take away from it

  • You thrive in ambiguity, create structure from chaos, and can independently design scalable processes and systems from scratch

  • You are relentless and resourceful. When something doesn’t reconcile or an answer doesn’t make sense, you keep going until you understand why

  • You move fast and operate with precision. You thrive in an environment where clarity, accountability, and urgency matter

We’re proud to be backed by world-class investors who share that vision, including Bessemer Venture Partners, Index Ventures, Spark Capital, Stripes, and Mastercard, along with many others.

We’re a team of 170+ across 26 states and 7 countries, headquartered in New York City.

We are hiring a Senior Risk Associate to run Lithic’s risk assessment function: the client risk assessment program, the third party risk management program, and the enterprise risk assessment. You will execute the assessments, own the operations that keep them on schedule and defensible, and continuously improve the rubrics, questionnaires, registers, and SOPs that govern them. You will also own program underwriting: the criteria, limit and reserve recommendations, and periodic reassessment that follow a client from diligence through scale.

This is an AI-forward role. Lithic is deploying agentic tooling across diligence and documentation workflows, and this role owns that build in the assessment domain: testing, tuning, and documenting the tooling so routine collection, review, and drafting are absorbed by automation, while you own the judgment calls, the exceptions, and the written product that goes to partner banks and examiners.

This role operates with limited guidance and owns its programs end to end. It is sized for ownership, orchestration, and judgment rather than queue/ticket processing.

What You’ll Do

  • Execute client risk assessments end to end: document collection, interviews, scoring against the weighted risk typologies, written assessment, tier determination, and pre-launch conditions.
  • Own program underwriting: apply and maintain underwriting criteria, recommend spend, transfer, and reserve limits, and reassess programs as volume, product mix, and financial condition change.
  • Run third party risk operations: vendor intake and tiering, due diligence and certification report review, control effectiveness ratings, the vendor risk register, annual reviews, and vendor issue and incident tracking.
  • Support the enterprise risk assessment and the risk register: maintain the assessment inventory and calendar, collect and test control evidence, apply the enterprise rating methodology consistently across sub-assessments, and prepare Enterprise Risk Committee materials.
  • Continuously improve the programs: refine rubrics, weights, questionnaires, and templates based on observed outcomes, and author and maintain the SOPs that make each assessment repeatable by someone other than you.
  • Test, deploy, and tune agentic tooling across the assessment workflows, including document review, questionnaire analysis, vendor due diligence, and drafting, and document the context that makes the output repeatable and defensible.
  • Define and report the KPIs and KRIs for the assessment programs, and surface concentration, trend, and thematic findings to leadership and oversight forums.
  • Serve as the evidence owner for partner bank, audit, and examiner requests touching client, third party, and enterprise risk assessment.
  • Mentor and cross-train teammates on assessment methodology, scoring discipline, and the tooling.

What You’ll Bring

  • Hands-on experience conducting risk assessments in fintech, payments, or banking, across client or counterparty, third party or vendor, and enterprise or operational risk.
  • Working knowledge of underwriting fundamentals: financial statement review, liquidity and runway analysis, loss and exposure monitoring, and limit setting.
  • Fluency with rubric-based scoring methodologies and the discipline to apply them consistently and defend a rating.
  • A track record of owning discrete risk programs end to end with limited guidance, including authoring the SOPs and defining the metrics that govern them.
  • Ability to read control reports (ISO 27001, SOC 2 Type II, PCI DSS AOC) and translate findings into a residual risk position and a remediation ask.
  • Comfort working with AI-assisted or agentic tooling, including how to test, tune, document, and defend AI-assisted decisions to bank partners and regulators
  • Self-starter who can create structure where none exists and knows when to escalate and collaborate
  • Clear, concise writing under a compliance standard: assessments, memos, and committee materials that hold up in front of a partner bank or an examiner.

The annual US salary range for this role is $86,000 - $144,000, plus equity. This salary range may be inclusive of several career levels at Lithic and will be narrowed during the interview process based on the candidate’s experience and qualifications.

Come join us!

About the Team

The AlphaSense Product Team builds the AI market intelligence products that thousands of enterprises rely on every day. Our Agent API extends that intelligence beyond the AlphaSense platform: it lets enterprise engineering teams and partners embed our decision-making intelligence directly into their own applications.. Our developer experience is what decides whether our customers can drop AlphaSense into their enterprise AI stack in an afternoon or give up during setup. This role exists to make that experience excellent. You’ll work at the center of engineering, developer support, customer experience, and the broader API product effort.

About the Role

We’re looking for a Senior Product Manager to lead the developer experience for the AlphaSense Agent API. You’ll be responsible for everything a developer touches on the way to a successful integration: the developer portal, documentation and quickstarts, SDKs and code samples, authentication and credentials, structured responses and streaming, error handling, and the logging and tracing developers need to debug agentic workflows. Your north star is time-to-first-call - how quickly a developer at a sophisticated enterprise can authenticate, make a real call, and trust what comes back. To succeed you’ll need to meet developers where they already are: aligning our API with the conventions teams use to consume LLMs and agents today, so that adopting AlphaSense feels native rather than bespoke. You’ll ground your roadmap in developer analytics, support signals, and direct conversations with the engineers who build on our API, and you’ll partner closely with Engineering, Marketing, and Customer Education to keep the experience coherent as the API grows. You’ll start with the Agent API, and as AlphaSense’s developer platform expands, you’ll have the opportunity to shape the standards and experience for developers across more of our products.

Who You Are

  • You’re an expert in developer products. You’ve owned public APIs, SDKs, or developer portals, and you understand a developer’s workflow from the inside. Ideally, you’ve built for developers who integrate your product into experiences for their own end users, rather than tools developers use for themselves.
  • You’re technically hands-on and fluent in the modern AI developer ecosystem. You can read API documentation, authenticate, and make a call yourself. You know how engineering teams integrate LLMs today and the conventions teams expect around SDKs, errors, and tooling. You’re a strong thought partner for engineering who can drive to a decision on complex technical topics.
  • You treat documentation and onboarding as a product. You know that a great quickstart, a working code sample, and a clear, actionable error message do more for adoption than any amount of marketing
  • You bring structure at scale. You’ve operated in a fast-scaling enterprise environment and are energized by taking a working developer experience and making it genuinely great, creating the standards others rely on.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead the end-to-end developer journey. Define and improve every step from a developer’s first visit through authentication, first successful call, integration, and production.
  • Make the portal and docs a first-class surface. Drive the developer portal, reference documentation, quickstarts, tutorials, code samples, changelogs, and the SDKs and client libraries that let developers self-serve.
  • Meet developers in their existing stack. Align the API with the standards and conventions teams already use to consume LLMs and agents, so integrating AlphaSense is close to a drop-in change.
  • Make agentic workflows debuggable. Give developers the structured responses, verbose logs, tracing, and clear errors they need to see what the agent did and fix issues without guesswork.
  • Cut time-to-first-call. Hunt down onboarding friction across credentials, authentication, and testing so a new developer reaches a working call fast.

For base compensation, we set standard ranges for all roles based on function and level benchmarked against similar stage growth companies and internal comparables. In order to be compliant with local legislation, as well as to provide greater transparency to candidates, we share salary ranges on all job postings regardless of desired hiring location. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors including candidate experience/expertise and may vary from the amounts listed below.

You may also be offered a performance-based bonus, equity, and a generous benefits program.

Base Compensation Range

$160,000—$220,000 USD
